Default Mpg with 6” lift and 35” Tires

So, the speed limit on the beach ranges from 45 to 55mph and I was going 60 mph and was getting 19.1 mpg with a 2018 F150 5.0, 6” lift with nitto trail grapplers 35x12.5x20 with stock 3.55 rear gears. Are these good numbers?

Considering my completely stock 2014 with the 3.5 Ecocrap and 3.31 gears average 14 mpg on the highway I would say your numbers are fantastic.

Show off!

However it doesn't seem unreasonable to achieve 19mpg for 5 miles at 60 mph.

Default Just about anytthing's possible in 5 miles

For 5 miles, there isn't much that's unreasonable.

I got 31.8 MPG and I was doing 70. I have a picture to prove it! All of 1.9 miles too. I forgot how long it took to drop to a more realistic number as I was paying more attention to traffic after that. I'll know what reality was in a few weeks when I need to fill up next.

I know the feeling. I just tell myself it’s worth it because of the power.

My 5.0 gets 12.5 mpg with 6" lift and 35x12.5s.... The dash says 13 but I hand checked it at 12.5

The 3.73 gears don't help my mileage, though. I'd be thrilled with 19mpg.

The 3.73 gears probably help tremendously with that tire size. Run 35's on 3.31 gears and see how it reacts.
