Default Most comfortable shocks?

Looking for a softer, comfortable shock rather than a stiff off road one.

Any ideas? I have heard the Fox 2.0's are soft.

Honestly OEM is going to be your softest ride.

agree. Most shock vendors offer an improvement in the form of a stiffer suspension that improves handling.

18" rims, stock shocks, hellwig swaybar. If you really want to dial it in, a set of fox shocks rebuilt by a competent shock tuner can modify the valve stack to make the shock perform the way you want. But... you will give up aspect of handling and for sure towing capacity. TANSTAAFL

As others have said, stick with the OEM shocks if you want the softest ride possible. I've owned Fox 2.0's, Bilstein 5100's, and now Fox 2.5's that are custom tuned... all of those options ride more firm than stock. Personally, I like the firm ride because the truck feels more controlled and handles better but if you want soft then the stock shocks are by far the softest.

If you wanted a soft ride, you should not have bought a truck.

If you want a more comfortable ride than a F-150 on OEM shocks, trade it for a RAM.

haha and he's wrong too. My truck (before the level, bilsteins, LT tires etc.) road way smoother than my wifes honda civic. The ride is way better than sedans on anything but the smoothest of roads.

I installed the 4600 Bilsteins on my second year of ownership, I have a 2015 bought new. They are somewhat firmer than stock but not a lot, ride quality is and was superb ever since.
