Default Morimoto HID problems

Hey guys,

I was curious to know if anyone else was having issues with the elite HID kits (H11's). I work at a Ford dealership and we have brought in a few kits from a Morimoto dealer here in Canada to outfit on vehicles on the lot and some employee trucks.

Needless to say, install on one truck was painful as the driver headlight was giving issues and now once completed passenger headlight looks almost more blue than it should be with the 5500k kit installed and driver side looks like a yellow-ish white instead of pure white as advertised.

Second truck was done yesterday/this morning and the headlights keep flickering and going out and are not pure white like they should be even after letting the HID's warm up for a bit.

I'm curious if someone knows of a fix for these as i know lots of people have installed these and i wanted to know if they have had the same issues.

I'm looking to install the HID's and fog light kit on my truck but only once we get everything hammered out and fixed.

My old Morimotos would do the flicker so I just used the Morimoto canbus adapters and never had a problem with them. I've yet to install HID's on my new Ford, just not sure I wanna blind oncoming drivers, but the canbus adapters are well worth it

Take them off. All your doing is blinding people.

Agreed. HID's without a bulb cap or without projectors is just cruel. Great output though

That could be it for the issues they're causing then. Kit we ordered was HD relays instead of CanBus.
