Default What is the bed cover by Rev?

I had the dealer install the Ford oem bed cover by Rev. From what I understand it's exactly like a Bakflip cover but I'm trying to figure out which bakflip cover it is. I've searched through threads and one said it's a g2 and another said it's an f1. One difference is that it has 4 drains as opposed to 2 on the bakflip.

Does it have an aluminum top or textured fiber glass?

It's very nice. It looks great and after a very heavy thunderstorm tonight it was bone dry in the bed. My extang solid fold always leaked.

Thanks, that's what I thought but I wasn't sure. Ford seemed to have change it slightly, it has 4 drains instead of 2 and for some reason it lists it as 3/4 inch thick as opposed to 1/2 for the g2. But it had the same weight capacity, 300 lbs., as the g2. It also has a glow in the dark safety pull tab on the first cable. It also has a ford logo on the back.

I'm really glad you like it, because I ordered my truck (Blue Jeans / Caribou King Ranch) with it. My understanding is that it ships separately, and that the dealer installs it when both it and the truck have arrived. I wanted the truck to be fully ready to use with a secured bed when I pick it up. I don't get a whole lot of time to spend having things like that done.

So, it is included in the purchase price of my truck. Got the spray in liner as well, and the bed divider and extenders. Everything but the ramps. If I find use for those I can get them later and keep them in the shed until needed. I'm going to send out for the OEM Ford bed mat too.

I've got just under a three week wait left, and I'm going nuts!

That's going to be a nice ride, 2manycars. Blue Jean was my other color choice, I ended up with magnetic, but I really like the blue Jean. My 2011 was blue pearl so I wanted more of a change. You will like the cover, it looks like it was made for the truck. The only thing I didn't like was how the dealer routed the back drain tubes but I was able to run them a better way. Good luck with the truck, I would be chomping at the biting I were you. BTW more rain today and still dry.
