Default Moonroof or No Moonroof?

What are some peoples thoughts on the moonroof option? I'm torn on whether or not to get it or forget it. Some people have complained about them leaking....

I'd vote no. Some leak, they add weight and they reduce head room. But, they look so dang cool!

I read about some issues but I haven't had any problems with mine. I bought mine in March 2015 and have almost 50k on the clock. It's seen temps from -35*C to +30*C and I open it up often when it's nice out. No regrets getting it and I would get it again for sure.

Im leaning towards wanting it and skipping out on navigation. They will have a update coming out later this year for Sync 3 that will enable Apple CarPlay and you will be able
to run maps from your phone to your screen for navigation. Of course Data applies using your cell phone. I was orginally wanting to do the navigation and skip out on the moonroof but now knowing the new update thing. I think im going to take moonroof.

Except when you open the fabric shade, as then the head room is much more than regular

Personally I dislike them.
Why in the heck would i need a hunk of glass over my head as I drive?
I would actually pay extra for a metal roof if I had to.

Just got a lariat on Friday with the moonroof and I must say I LOVE it. Definitely lights up the cabin and makes it feel more spacious.

I have not had any issues with mine and I didn't have any issues on my last F150 over the nine years I owned it. Personally, I do not like not having one.
