I guess 1,000,000 / 10 = $100,000 spent in service departments at Ford. (you get 10 points per dollar spent)
Take 1,000,000 x 005 = $ 5000 in spendable money I can use.
The down and dirty answer is you get 5% reward at Ford on dollars spent in service.
I think I can burn points on new vehicles also. So $5000 plus my $3500 in private cash offer means I have $8500 to start off on a new vehicle if I wanted.

I had been limited every year under the old system to only being able to use $500 per year. It just kept accumulating and when the old system was transferred to the new system, all was now available.

yes, at least 100k, I have even had a few 10k months over the years - Own 13 Fords 1 GM 2 Isuzu - all in perfect mechanical condition - Fords started with a 1985 Thunderbird Turbocoupe 5 speed - had a bunch of GM trucks and only one Dodge - prefer Fords

Too bad it doesn't work on new vehicle purchases too. I would have like 5 million points by now. LOL

$100,000 over 29 years works out to $3448.28 per year; not tremendously great, but not that much in the big scheme of things.

I imagine some of that money spent in the service department was for dealer installed aftermarket stuff, oil changes & other maintenance services, etc.
