Well, I just couldn't bring myself to try the Michelin's....sticking with the BFGs for now.

New set on order, hopefully installed Saturday.

Good luck, got 94.00 bucks back from Ford dealer on a price match, but as is typical with Ford, it was a fight!

I had the MS2 on my 2011 which is basically the model preceding the Defender LTX. Same tread pattern and sidewall design. Quiet tire and good in the snow, but I tried everything to get them to balance but they always had a shake. I took them off and put them on my 2013, same shake. Ended up replacing them with Toyo Open Country A/T2 and the shake was gone. Plus they are definitely not an aggressive or interesting tire. I'd probably try them again but I wasn't overly thrilled with the M/S2's.

Just went through the shake myself on my wife's GX-470 .. They finialy rotated the tire on the wheel 180 degrees and re-balanced them and shake gone. Third time back was a charm
