It's mandatory the tires must look good on the truck, but also has to function good, which is why I'm on BFGs currently. I will be loosing 2 or 3 pounds when I change rims. If I can nock off a few more with a lighter tire, thats even better.

I have to see that huge radial on a truck before I buy them, or I will stick with K02s.

Holy cow! The Michelin Defenders were just released in August 2015. It is the replacement for the Michelin LTX M/S. I read the press release and they do not have a 90,000K warranty. Either your wife drove 45K miles in 8 months or you are talking about another tire.

I'm debating these exact two tires for my 14 in a 275/70r18 size. And definitely getting the Michelins for the wife's 09 RX350 to replace her old Michelin Energys.

For your situation I would definitely go with the KO2s. The specs are really similar and the BFGS are really good looking tire.

I replaced Michelin Energy's that did not make 50,000 miles with Defenders on our Fusion Hybrid. They have 12,000 miles and only 3/32 used.

Bringing this back up, as my decision is less than 2 weeks away.

Anyone running Michelin Defender LTX M/S 35X12.5R20LT?

FYI, Michelin also released the Defender LTX M/S 295/65R20LT's.

I just put the Michelins on my 13, they are very nice, of course they are coming from worn out Bridgestone from the factory with 50K on them! LOL!

Ride is nice, but not as quiet as I expected! Installed at Ford Dealer for under 975 including all fees and taxes.

I would assume their are or will be some Labor Day sales or rebates.

That is what I'm waiting for

I'm pretty excited about getting my new set-up. They should weigh in around 82lbs total for each wheel, with 35X12.5's on 20's 2lbs over OEM. The 285-65r20 BFG's are 2.3lbs more than the Michelins, but 1" less wide.
