Default MFT Random Reboot

I've had this XLT 302A for almost a month now and I've had the MFT just go out to a black screen and reboot twice now. One time I had to press the power button to get it to come back on and go through it's sequence before I get the radio and everything back.

Never happened on the other 2015s I had.

Anybody have any input?

Do a complete reset and see if that resolves the issue. If it keeps happening then off to the dealer you go.

Happened to me a few times within a few days of each other. Says it was updating or something. Then it stopped.

Hi BoozeDaily,

I agree with Gadgitz. Try a master reset: http://owner.ford.com/sync-technolog...c-myford-touch

Let me know how it goes.

Right on, I'll give it a whirl before I take off for work tomorrow morning. I wasn't too concerned about it. I thought it was a system update or something but then it happened again.

Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately that is normal with MFT. Every Ford I've had and the 2 I have now do that occasionally. It's not a system update. There are no over the air updates with MFT. If it's doing it daily or every other day, you might need your APIM replaced.
