Default Memory Seat Button Replacement

Hey everyone,

I have a 2016 F150 and the light behind my memory seats/unlock/lock button has gone out as well as the memory recall just not working sometimes. I found the part I need but I have no idea how to remove the current switch in there now. Has anyone had any luck getting that piece off or replacing it? Thanks!

Here is the switch if you are confused by my question.

You’ll probably have to take the whole interior door panel off to get behind it to depress tabs to remove it. There are several YouTube videos for taking the panel off, it’s easy, just takes about 5-10 mins. Replace your switch, plug it back in, put the panel back on, and you should be good.

Do you think it is the switch that needs replacing? The backlight is not on either so it’s tough to see at night.

Thats where I’d start. With it sometimes working it’s likely either that or the wiring, I’d guess.
