Default Memory features with FOB

I have a 2018 F 150 Lariat. I have followed the instructions for programing the memory features to the key FOB. It wont work. I turn accessory power on without starting the truck. I get the seats, pedal, etc. to where I want them them and press memory 1 and hold until I hear 2 beeps. I immediately press the LOCK button of the remote FOB. I turn the power to the truck off. I lock the truck. When I unlock the truck and get in and start the vehicle, I still have to press 1 on the door to recall the memory settings. The FOB won't do it. Any Help would be much appreciated.

Been a while since I did mine but that sounds right. Is that the manuals directions?

I am thinking that this has something to do with easy entry which is turned on/off via the cluster.

I have easy exit turned on and I can't find any other settings under Advanced settings that pertain to the memory settings.

Did you try to program with both fobs? If not, try it out and if it works with the other one it might mean the battery on the first one you were using is low(?)

This is just a thesis, of course.

Another thing that comes to mind is:
Once you have your seats working to its memory settings, if by any chances you touch one of the adjustment buttons it will "override" the memory setting, meaning you'll have to push 1,2 or 3 button you programmed to activate it again. What I mean is let's say, easy exit pulled the seat all the way back and you reclined an extra bit (or something on the door pockets lightly touched it) - this is going to override the memory setting. Same happens when pulled forward or while driving. So make sure not to touch (or something hitting) any of the 3 side seat buttons.

Mine works but I programmed both IA fobs for Memory 1 & 2. I did this on both my F150 and wife's Escape and all works.

Well, I've tried both remotes. Guess I will go to the dealership tomorrow. Thanks
