Just curious if anyone else has had issues with one or both sides of the e-brake freezing up and not releasing.

I'm working from home at the moment because my truck has a very frozen passenger rear e-brake cable.

 

Not on my current truck but I have had them freeze on my 97. When I first moved to OH I learned not to use the Ebrake in the winter.

 

It's almost certainly my own fault, drove through a stream yesterday and I bet it got more water than usual in there and it was like sub 20F overnight.

Still seems like an oversight to me though.
