Default MBRP 4" Catback

3.5 ecoboost....Anyone running one of these? Really looking for opinions about it...It's pretty affordable, don't really want to spend $600+ on an exhaust...I'm not looking for a V8 sound, just some sort of sound, truck is too quiet.

I have the MBRP S5255AL for sale with less than 100 miles on it, see my thread in for sale. I am on Long Island and would let it go for a great price picked up if you are interested.

did u notice any loss in power? I'm reading a lot if things saying that going up to 4" actually causes a loss of torque

4" seems like it is too big for a V8, much less a V6. 4" is more like you see on big Diesels.

With a turbocharged engine, from what I know, it could be of some benefit. Add some catted downpipes, and you'll really hear the turbos spinning up/down. With just the exhaust, a tune would help more.
I know what you're saying about the sound, before my exhaust, on the 5.0, and this 3.5, I had to look at the tach to see if it was running. Even a V6 should have some sound, at least at the tailpipe, love it or not. LOL
I might mention my hearing is impaired a bit.

I have a '17 3.5 EB with the factory resonator removed, and the exhaust turned down in front of the rear axle. Sounds really good. It has zero drone and has the sportier sound. People that hear it like it. I have looked at the 3inch MBRP for the F150, but I am afraid it will drone too much for me.

I decided to go with the MBRP 3" black series cat back that exits in front of the rear tire...2 straight days of listening to sound clips of all different ones and so much shopping around....ended up getting the best prices by far from moddiction on here, so went ahead and ordered the black series. My truxk is all red and black no chrome at all so the black series will look pretty good im guessing. Love the look of the before the tire exit also. I'll post some pics and sounds once installed.
