Running MBRP S5253304 SS 3" cat back with R1013 resonator on my 2015 2.7L. I like the sound with the resonator. No drone.

Cruising down I95 at 70-75 mph you can easily hold a conversation with all the passengers (front & back). Turn the radio on and the exhaust sound fades away. If your truck is a Lariat or up have the dealer disable the Engine Noise Enhancement (ACM) thru the IDS (Intergraded Diagnostic System).

I tried the exhaust without the R1013 resonator at first and decided to add it on and like the results better.

How is the resonator added? Just cut and clamp in?

Yes cut and clamp. Had to buy one clamp as I had one left over from the cat back install. Cut the pipe to allow the resonator is sit in the same area as the factory one.
