So what's the difference between LD, HD, and HPP? Just curious. By the way, my truck has a GVWR of 7,000 (not 7,050), and payload of only 1,458 lbs, so not sure what exactly the HPP frame contributes to.

My Plat, 145" 4x2, HPP frame, GVWR 6750 with 1557 payload.

Screw 145 4x4 3.5 EB = 7000
Screw 157 4x4 3.5 EB = 7050

The 16 4x4 I had was a 145" with 7050 GVWR.

Anyone think Ford does this just to screw with us?

Based on 17100 GCWR in Owners Manual
SCab is 17,100 in chart and SCrew is 16,700 GCWRI believe.

Yes, that I cannot find in manual so went with chart at 10,700.

Will have to look at manual again.

Thanks
