And max tow has the HDD? But HDPP doesn't? Or, both/either do?

I saw that thread some time ago but didn't have my truck yet and don't remember now

Max tow 3.5 comes with the HDPP frame, not just the HD one. Both get the 9.75 diff with the 3.5 eco.

Still looking for the guy wanting to downgrade his Max Tow truck vs. daily on here looking to upgrade. IMO it's the best upgrade you can get if getting a 3.5 eco. I went to a lot of trouble to get close to the same with my 5.0 and at considerably more money.

Nobody is on here daily looking to upgrade their 3.5 liter with 3.55 axle, trailer tow, and 36 gallon, to max tow.

Absolutely no reason to downgrade from max tow either. I mean, who would do that? The only issue with max tow is that it can be difficult to find the truck you want if you require max tow to be on it. But...you're right nobody ever wants to downgrade from it or get rid of it or regrets getting it

Hmmm, very confusing. I have max tow but, my frame just say 'HD'. How does one tell if it is also HDPP? Is that just a designation not noted and only confirmed because of the engine and diff size?

What chart? Note my pic above that shows that my 145" frame is 'HD'. We must be very special.

Oh someone posted a frame chart that lists all the available frames Ford uses, not sure what thread it is in. No where in that chart was there a 145" HPP frame.

Found it. 145" HPP is what is NOT shown.
