Hey guys,i got my oil changed the other day by a quick lube and ever since when i crank the truck a message pops up ( Max speed 80 mph) i went back to quick lube and they said we didn’t change anything. I tried myself but can’t figure out how to clear that. Can anyone help?

Did they drive your car into the bay? If they did, yeah, they ****ed it up. It's not possible to accidentally set limits, you have to go through several menu windows to pull up the mykey menu and enable it, and it's nowhere near the oil life menu, if they reset that for you.

 

Yes they did and i tried twice to get it corrected and can’t do it.

Know the video said to clear my key and i can pullit up but not clear it!

 

First mistake was going to Quick Lube. Take it to Ford or do it yourself

 

I think about 50% of Ford dealerships are quick lubes now.

 

You have to use the second key. settings/advanced settings/mykey/clear mykeys
