Default Max Payload + Lariat

I'm really disapointed you can't add any options on the max payload version(s) of the truck. Do you think this is just an initial thing to reduce variations?
I would really love to order a max payload version of the Lariat or KR with most all of the bells/whistles...
It also seems looking at a few charts that the max tow package no longer adds the ~ 350# to the payload... :-(

Yes, the MaxTow doesn't seem to do anything to GVWR or GAWR for the 2015s.

And as always, HD Payload stops at the Lariat. Not available in anything higher. But you can go more luxury in the SuperDutys if you want.

I'm ok with the lariat, just wish I could get the 502A package + tech/etc...
Looking at '14 model, you could order the 501A (but not 502A) and add individual options to it to get it to the equivalent of the 502A. For '15 it seems you can't add much of anything beyond the base model Lariat. :-(

I'm right there with you I can't build a lariat with the 501a package and hd payload/max tow. Is that a bug or is that just how it is? Would love to have the guard caribou combo.

Well, it seems that's the case on the build pdf file that was leaked as well... essentially no options available for the Lariat hd payload except the base 500A. Now is that temporary for the first run of trucks? I don't know... Hopefully so, but if not... perhaps they'll have an ecoboost '16 SD with aluminum likely moving to them as well... Plus hopefully the SD line will get all the nice features/technology of the '15 f-150 as well.

You can't even add remote start to Lariat with HD package. What sense does that make when you can do it with XLT HD payload? Who wants to install remote start after the fact and have two key fobs? The Lariat HD payload is a fail.

Maybe since its late availability, they'll change the order guide once the HD payload is actually available... at least one can hope that's the case anyhow.

Doubt that, but like you said there is always hope!

So does anyone know what the bolt pattern is for the hd payload wheels? Is it the same as the old ones or are they completely new?

The pictures in the 2015 Order Guide show only 6 lugs for the 18" HD alloy rims. So completely new. The lug pattern looks the same as the other 18" rims, but I don't see it specified exactly ...

The 17" HD rims are steel with a lower GAWR than the 18" HD. I guess their lug pattern would be the same as the 18" HD.
