Default Massaging Seats Issue

Just a heads up. I have these seats and they stopped working a few days ago. The motor was running, but nothing would happen. Dealer found that the tube for the air was poorly tightened and had come off. Very simple fix. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they have a similar situation.

Yep, my passenger seat has been fixed twice now. Same problem. Motor runs, but the seat does nothing.

Thanks for the tip, jodycwilliams! I'm sure others experiencing this concern will appreciate your help.

I'm adding this to your case for the CSM to review, 2015F150Platinum4x4. Please let me know if you'd like a call expedited for any updates.

I have also had it happen twice on passenger seat (never on driver seat). I finally put a touch of gorilla glue on it and it won't come off now...the seat back will unzip on both sides to gain access...

My truck already has a case open with the regional customer service manager. No need to inform her. She can't help anyway. She only provides informational updates, which aren't helpful at all.

Discovered my driver's side seat massaging does not work when I picked up my factory order the other day. The service dept. claimed they fixed it by connecting a disconnected manifold high up in the seat back. It still doesn't work, motor or pump runs a lot but nothing happens. One would think they would have checked to see that it actually worked after thinking they fixed it.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Derodeo; I'll get a case started and escalated to your regional customer service manager. I happen to also be covering for Ford of Canada's social media presence here on the forum, so go ahead and send your full name, VIN, current odometer reading, servicing dealership, and best daytime contact number to the FordServiceCA account; I'll check it out soon and get that going.

voltruckguy, did you have any trouble unzipping the seats to fix the tube?

Brittany,

I've just had this happen again on the exact same seat. So, perhaps it is time I get a case open with you? Also, I am in the same boat as a few others with the very dangerous adaptive cruise control braking. I'll post to that thread for clarity.

Hi jodycwilliams,

I'm Todd, the new Ford rep around these parts. Brittany has moved over to our Twitter page. I recommend reaching out to my colleagues at FordServiceCA here, as they're best to assist.

Have an awesome day!

Todd
