Default Manufacturing question

I wondered this before I bought my '13, and I am wondering it now that I'm thinking about a newer truck. WHY doesn't Ford build an extended cab Limited, Platinum, or KR? I'm stuck buying a lariat and "loading it up" the best I can- but it still says Lariat on the side. I know this is a first world problem, but it bothers me, none the less. BTW, my '13 FX4 w/appearance pkg is one of the most menacing looking trucks ford has ever produced- will they ever build anything like it again?

The hockey stick stripe is more menacing than any of the raptors? What did yours look like? Feel free to take the emblems off

Mine was pre-hockey stick. I guess I should have said More menacing on the street- not off road. I what I mean is, I will not buy a screw, yet I would like to have the option of buying a top-of-the-line truck. I guess there is no chance.

What options are you wanting that you can't get on a Lariat?

Supply and demand. Nobody is buying extended cabs and regular cabs anymore but fleets. Demand is for crew cab family haulers.

I loaded up my 15 Lariat because I wanted a Scab. Would have liked to have ordered the Massaging Seats but I could not get them in the 502a.

I have to disagree. There are plenty of reasons for a luxury SCAB. A Larait is a pretty decked out truck. FORD just wants the bigger bucks $$$ you plunk down on the SCREWS. I got an XLT w the 302A because it had all I wanted.

The truck is mine! If you're looking for a family hauler, get a mini-van for the soccer moms.

OP,
My thoughts exactly. Really wanted a King Ranch, wanted a Screw more. Got a Lariat 502a package. Super happy with the truck.

I kinda wish I got a crew cab but the cost did not work with how much I wanted to pay a month.

I appreciate all the answers/opinions. I can afford to pay cash for a f450 dually limited- that's not the point. I will ONLY drive F150 scabs, and I would like it if I could get it in a limited version. I guess I'm either stuck with a lowly Lariat, or keep what I've got
