Default Maintenance contradiction

Wading the owner's manual from r the 2015. On page 148 it says seat filters don't need to be replaced. Under maintenance it says to replace at 30000 miles.

Seems like a good idea to clean them at least.

Anyone know where they are or how to get at them.

Really dude?
For those that have both heated and cooled seats, it's a fan that blows hot or cold air through the perforations. Where as an element only provides heat and there is no fan. The fan has a filter to prevent build up and ultimately part failure. It must be replaced approx every 30,000 kms

Not that he didn't know. I'm sure 99% of people don't have a clue.
It's the remark I was referring too. Pretty childish. Yeah bud, that's what ford put the filter there for.
