I am normally partial to eoropean cars. I’ve had several trucks in the past (Tacoma, Tundra & f150) that I purchased specifically for the bed but I did not use them as a daily. My cayenne turbo was getting old and needed to trade it in before warranty expired. Lately, my lady has been commenting on our driveway looks like a use car lot. After test driving ‘16 Lariat, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the interior and how peppy the 3.5 EcoBoost was. So I decided to not only trade in my Cayenne but I also threw in my ‘12 Tundra. No regrets! I’m been enjoying this truck since.

How much was it to get that lift in plastic for your truck?

This is my first pickup too (bought March 2018). I got it to move my daughter's things to/from school 12 hours away. I'm finding all kinds of uses for it, and it's comfortable and pretty fuel efficient. I should have gotten one many years ago.

This is my first full size truck. I learned to drive in a mid 70's F-150 with a bench seat and a vinyl floor. I had a 2012 Honda Ridgeline for 4+ years it may be the most versatile vehicle on the planet. I wanted something bigger, more substantial and wanted some luxury (I know, in a "truck"). This is also my first US car brand vehicle - so far - very happy.
Moved my daughter to college 350 miles away, rented a yard aerator last weekend, picked up a new basketball hoop last night and did it all in leather wrapped luxury with real wood trim - heated and massaging seats, heated steering wheel, rain sensing windshield wipers (man, once you get those you never want anything else).
I am hooked !

I'm a do-it-myself'er and a home owner. I need a truck to haul, tow and navigate Western NY winters! Besides, I like sitting up high so I can be aware of my surroundings. I've never bought a "car" since I started buying my own vehicles back in 1998. Always SUV's or trucks.
