Magnaflow 12249 5.0 Review
Truck is a 2016 Screw 4x4 5.0. Just had my local muffler shop install the 18 inch 12249 muffler, paid $88 shipped for the muffler and $30 to weld it in. On start up it has a slight growl then it's not much louder than stock only it has some "tone" to it now. Overall it's not much louder that stock when normal driving or starting and stopping. Truck seems to have slightly better throttle response. I'm very well pleased with quality and sound. Good job Magnaflow , better V-8 sound and no drone.

Looks good. I did the same thing on my 2005 F150 and added a Magnaflow in place of the stock muffler.
I have been thinking of doing the same to my new 2015. You probably will notice a little more sound over time. Keep us updated on it as it breaks in.

Nice. I had the 18" put on my 14 silverado. It sounded better when I traded it than it did when the muffler was new. I decided to go just a bit louder on the f150 and went with a 14".

You've got to change the pipe between the muffler and the resonator to a full 3". Mine sounds amazing! I've also added a split tip to mine, and seems to have improved the sound even more. In any case, it will get louder as it breaks in.

Same here....just had it put on two weeks ago. Love the subtle yet deep tone that it puts out....glad I went this route.
