Amazon has all the box-link keys...the LOCK is manufactured by SouthCo.
SouthCo is a HUGE lock / latch manufacture - theyre prolific in the Boating and RV industry.

that doesnt mean someone isnt looking for keys....or that theres a NEW source for purchasing keys.

 

Suggest whoever is looking for keys to do some 'shopping' since the price varies widely! I have seen prices that look like they are cut from gold bars.

 

I agree. $16 (on amazon) for 2 keys seems excessive...but when you need it you need it.
It's also why I mention SouthCo as the manufacture....they're a huge company....there should be plenty of availability

 

I order mine from eBay at about $14 a key with shipping and then took it to a local locksmith who cut more for $3 each.

theyre now $9 each...which makes $16 per pair something less than "unreasonable" (still excessive imo).

one COULD order them from Amazon, have them copied and then RETURN them for full credit....but I'm sure no-one would ever do something so nefarious
