Default Looking for a bed cover

On my 2010 I had an extang trifold that worked really well. Don’t remember it leaking much, fit was good. Looking to get one of those again or something similar now. I have 2 kids that ride in the backseat of the truck, so the double stroller and other things go in the bed. Need something to help keep things dry back there. Not looking for the mythological fuel boost. Currently I wrap the stroller in a tarp if I know the weather is going to be bad.

Any recommendations?

I'm a big fan of the soft roll-up style. This is the third truck I've had it on. While they're not completely guaranteed waterproof, I've never had anything ruined by water getting in. In fact, I can't remember when water got in. Currently, I have the Truxedo Truxport. I like soft roll ups because I don't have to sacrifice any bed space or visibility to completely open up the bed, and it's very low-profile and unobtrusive when rolled away.

I have an Extang Solid Fold 2.0. I really like it. It’s easy to put on and remove. There’s nothing permanently attached to the truck. It is solid. I stood on the original Solid Fold on my Ram and it was solid. The 2.0 version replaces the metal sheets with plastic. It’s lighter now, looks better, and feels better.

I have a Peragon cover and am really pleased. It's made of aluminum and folds up. It can also be easily taken out of the bed if you happen to need more bed space.

BAK Revolver X4; check out Truck Brigade in the Vendor forum. James was great to work with and I could not be happier with the bed cover for protection from the elements AND the security it provides.

I ran a Truxedo Titanium purchased in Dec 2016, just a month ago the glue delaminated from the vinyl and aluminum slats.

I called Truxedo, sent in some pics and under full warranty they replaced it with the new Sentry roll up.
Truxedo included the shipping to Canada and they 100% stood behind their product.
Am I happy, very much so, the cover rolls up nicely and easy to take off. Two locking points, tailgate and midway for security.
Looks good and visibility out the back is not affected when rolled up.

I have an access cover soft roll up but I am upgrading to a Bak Revolver X4 when I get paid on the 1st. Forum vendors give great deals. I want the extra security. Right now someone can get into mine by cutting it open with a good knife. I don't like that.

I have a Truxedo Sentry CT, absolutely love it. Secure, hardly any water intrusion. If you have a bed mat, there’s almost no chance anything in the bed actually gets wet.

Wait, your sig block shows El Paso. I lived in Alamogordo, just over an hour north of you, for two years and don't recall too many rainy days...?
Joking aside- had a BAK MX4 on my 2017 Colorado SB- liked the protection it provided and not too painful to use until I needed to fold all the way up. Wasn't very often and didn't think it'd be too much of an issue, but ended up going a different direction for my 2018 F150.
Bought a Retrax ProMX for my 6.5' bed and love it. You lose approx 11"x11" of forward upper space, but it isn't an issue for me. With my Amp Research HD Max bed extender I can fit 4x8 sheets w/o issue.
IMO- soft covers, while definitely more attractive pricewise, don't offer the security I'm looking for in a cover.
Hope this help? Well, for hard covers anyway...

I had a undercover flex cover on my 14 and put the undercover ultra flex on my 19. I wasn't too impressed with the original undercover, the rear seal design required you to close the tailgate before closing the cover so, if you just open the tailgate, you had to open the cover in order to close it.

On the ultra flex the seal has been redesigned and you can close the tailgate with the cover open or closed and fitment it MUCH better with the new rail system. The new undercover flex now uses the same rear seal as the ultra flex now and would highly recommend either one.

The difference between the two are the flex has gloss black textured panels, the ultra flex has flat black smooth panels, the undersides are carpeted, and it comes with a light that mounts to one of the rails.
