You know the factory spay in bed liner does not spay behind the boxlinks brackets... I don't know why they do this but it's what I have seen on every truck spayed from the factory.
Problem is nobody in my area does Line-X. I would have to drive several hours and stay in a hotel while they completed the job.
Not worried about them not doing behind the box links as I would never remove them.

I know I have some ford money, u get from signing up at their events how much don't know till u do the final invoice. I'm doing an x plan I still have not seen much discounts or re baits on the Lariat truck listed around $48,000 x plan brings it around $45,000 or so. Have a bunch of Mods to install waiting in my garage.

I still can't imagine ordering a truck or any vehicle. I don't see how you all do it. If I am going to spend that kind of money. I want to see it and drive it first. I have never ordered a truck or car and don't think I would ever do so.

I guess if it's not want you want you can back out, but wow all that waiting.

I would think also you can get better deals on what's on the lot. I always have...

Just my 2 cents.

There is only one thing I would order site unseen and that is an MP5 SD they are running around 23K now and I want one and will probably order one someday. Oh and 400 to the ATF two tax stamps... Full auto and built in suppressor. Gotta support them. LOL

Looks like the shipping yard didn't know where to ship it. My truck should be here this week, I hope. Knowing my luck it will arrive Friday afternoon and they won't be able to PDI it until the next week.

Tell me how many Screw, 4x4, 6.5" box, ecoboost, dark grey, max tow, 36 gallon trucks you find within 300 miles of your zip code and then you will know why I ordered my truck. Heck just finding a Screw with a 6.5' box on it alone is a challenge let alone it having the other options you want on it.

I do understand where you are coming from. I prefer not to but have ordered two cars from the factory in the past. The biggest issue to me is that since you waited so long for it and it has your name on it essentially, you are likely to accept a flaw you would not have if the vehicle was on the lot. It's hard to turn it down after a couple months wait.

I had no issue with the two I ordered (Infiniti/Toyota), but unfortunately, the F150 is almost a crap shoot regarding build quality from one truck to another.

I'd prefer to order something that I have not taken for a test drive rather than buy something idiots have taken out for joy rides and done who knows what to them. Lesson learned, years ago I purchased a car off a lot only to find out weeks later that someone at the dealer took it to a bar one night where it got trashed. They did over $2k worth of damage and did not disclose that at the sale. Once I found out I demanded my money back, which within 24 hours they did, but since then I prefer to order from factory.

As for waiting, my 2005 Mustang GT took 6 months to arrive and it is still my favourite ride.

I don't mind the wait so much... But I am bothered by how they told me it will be 6-8 weeks. I'm going on my 15th week, and they still can't give me a date!!

I can track a parcel from amazon or something from across the world, but I can't seem to find out where exactly my truck is?!?! Makes no sense to me!!

Argh! Let the waiting continue!
