Default Longest process ever! What is going on?

Hey all, I order a 2015 F150 XLT SuperCAB back on April 24th. My options were: FX4, Heated mirrors, spray in bedliner, vynil flooring, and remote start. (Nothing too fancy here). So, my dealer originally gave me a ship date for the 13th of July and arrival date of 20th of July. They tell me "it can be in any day now", so two weeks have passed.... Still no truck! My dealer calls me last week and says " for some reason your truck appears to have been shipped to the Kansas plant, and we are unsure why.." ..."it may be because of the remote start" he says. Has this happened to anybody else? What the heck is going on? Anyone out there able to help me out? I'm getting very antsy to get this truck!!

That really sucks man, that's the first I've heard of the trucks transferring factories?

That would be a red flag for me and I would cancel the order. This late in the year why not just wait and order a 2016?

Our 15 mustang did something similar to this on COTUS. It never changed plants but it said that it was at the dealer and they didn't have it. Turned out after 3 weeks they were fixing a fuel issue under recall before it left. The COTUS updates were really odd during that time.

Very Understandable.... Crossing my fingers for ya.

I read somewhere that the 2016 F150's are going up in price?

Not sure about the 16 pricing, but I know rebates are real good on the 15s where I live right now. Hopefully I don't have to wait another 3-4weeks for it! Ahhh

I'm in the same boat. My dealer claims it is due to the spray-in bedliner. It's been over 3 weeks since my truck was built and it has yet to be shipped. As much as I'd like to cancel and just order a 2016 I can't wait until December for it to arrive.

I wonder if you can cancel the spay in from Ford. You would be better off with Line-X.

You know the factory spay in bed liner does not spay behind the boxlinks brackets... I don't know why they do this but it's what I have seen on every truck spayed from the factory.

Also I wonder if they spay the entire gate from the factory. I love the way the line-x came out.
