Default long term customer $

Hey guys,
Been lurking for awhile and finally think I've found a truck to buy. I would like to know your guys opinion on expecting a dealer to sweeten the pot a little (1k or so) to a long term (23yr) customer. I also get a plan. I feel I've been very loyal to the dealership and would like some loyalty in return, reasonable request or pie in the sky?

Thanks!

i would expect more than 1k if youve been going there for 23years personally. Ive been using the same dealership for only 4 years and got mine for 9k under sticker.

OP means $1,000 under A Plan price. Doubt dealer even makes that off an A Plan sale.

I am a 33 year customer(over 15 vehicles) with a now large private owner. I expect the same good deal every time, nothing extra when purchasing. The dealer has obtained out of warranty repairs for me, great emergency service when needed, is more than fair about aftermarket upgrades, gives me parts discounts equal to websites without me asking. That is why I buy there and the perks are better than a few bucks off when buying. If you do not benefits like I mentioned then go for a bigger discount, if you get them do not push a good thing.

Yes 2015, I have asked them to come up with a little bit, even a $750.00 brochure coupon! Too much?

A brochure coupon would still come out of Ford's pocket and not the dealer's pocket. Im sure if they could find one they would, but Ford specifically issues those so you'd have to ask Ford.

A plan does not pay a dealer enough to disct $1000 below a plan. They will make less than a $1000 selling at a plan as ford pays them a set fee for selling it. 750 coupons etc come directly from ford and have to now be electronically validated by ford so there is no more finding one ir using someone elses coupon anymore. You are getting a very fair price at a plan on a very popular vehicle. Ur price will be about 1500 below dealer invoice.

Yes, too much. They cant create a coupon or use someone elses. They are created by ford only and must be validated by ford.
Be lucky they will sell one at plan price. The 2015s have been very limited and many dealers are getting retail on higher end units.
