Default Loctite when doing level

Should I be using loctite on the threads of the bolts when I reinstall after putting on 2.5" front level? I'm also going out to buy a torque wrench tomorrow so I can torque all bolts to spec. I'm mechanically inclined so hoping this project isn't too bad or takes too much time.

I would use blue loctite.
Depending on the kit you bought you might have to use a spring compressor to compress the springs and rotate the strut cap 180 degrees because the strut assembly cannot be just rotated 180 degrees due to lower strut mount being at a slight angle. It was also kind of a pain in the rear to drive the lower strut mount studs out(heat is your friend) They need to be removed if you dont plan on taking the control arm out.

You dont need to do what I mentioned above because your bolts will remain in the same position.

All the nuts have nylon retainers, you don't need to use loctite at all imho. Always cracks me up how easy the vids look. I've done this several times...it sucks. Just time consuming and stuff just doesn't line up and go right back in lol. Got to wrestle with it..!! If you loosen the lower control arms, they are tough to tighten under load, they are like 200 ft lbs. i would suggest that whoever does your alignment makes sure they are torqued correctly. One final tip....beating out the strut bolts is a real pita. Make sure you have a 4-5 lb hammer. Those suckers are pressed in tight.

Sure I'll get flamed for this.

Need for the Loctite is why you see so many bolts showing as one use time use by Ford. Ford doesn't seem to trust their own techs to properly reapply, so specify bolt replacement. Not referring to critical bolts or nuts torqued to yield, talking about bolts and nuts like the U bolts on the springs. Very rarely does adding Loctite hurt but it often helps, so good idea to use. Loctite also works on one time use self locking nuts.
