Default Locking lug-nut tool

For all I know the locking lug-nut socket tool is not in my 2015 King Ranch. It was not in the console, the glove-box, nor in with the jack.

Does anyone have a part # to it?? I can prob get it through the parts dept., at work, just thought someone might have the # on the tool.

Thanx

There are different keys. Not all wheel locks are the same. I don't have factory wheel locks, so can you see any numbers on the face of the locks to give to the parts counter guy to order a key?

If not, you may have to have forcibly remove the ones you have and replace them.

As said above there are many different keys. But you can easily get them off if you need to with a socket just slightly smaller than will fit over it and tap it on with a hammer. 12 point works best.

Take it to the service department and a service tech will go this his collection of keys and tell you which one you need.

With 150 ft/lbs of torque? Good luck . Hopefully Discount Tire has the key that belongs to your locks. There're some that can be removed with special sockets; others don't. But if the lugnuts are recessed into the wheels (like the factory ones), it's much harder to remove them without the proper key, and without damage. Good luck.

Not only that, if someone wants to steal your wheels, they’ll also smash your window to get the key that you left in the console.

No luck needed, they will come right off. I didn’t just pull this out of my ***, ive had to do it on used vehicles that come through with no keys.

It works. I've had to do it to my daughters car when she lost her factory key. Like previously said, 12 point sockets work the best.
