Default Loading Ramps

Hello,

I have to load a large vertical smoker that weighs about 350lbs and a large 36" griddle into the back of the truck in the future on rare occasions. Any tips on what I can do so a couple guys can roll these things into the bed? The smoker is on 8" rubber casters, the griddle on smaller wheels. Hoping I can find something that will allow me to wheel em in. I'm a truck newb.

Thanks!

Seed

Part of the features of the 2015 is Ford's Boxlink system.
They have custom fit ramps that store right in the bed.

Thanks Wish. I know these exist but they are heavily grooved where these smaller wheels would get caught too easy. I think they're more for ATVs or bikes. Not sure they'll work or not but maybe someone that has experience knows.

Maybe a little trailer would be better but far less practical for me.

I have a carrier that fits in my receiver hitch. It has a drop down ramp. I carry a snowblower on it. It is rated for 500 lbs. It was about 140 bucks shipped from an eBay vendor.

What is a carrier? Do you have any pictures or a link to what you got?

Thanks Ranger.

If you want the factory ramps and need them flat on occasion, I'd bolt on some plywood covered in grip tape. When you're done, take the plywood off.

i'd have a hard time justifying the cost of OE ramps when you can pick up a set of comparable loading ramps at harbor freight for less than $100...
