Default LINE-X question

I plan on having LINE-X applied to the bed of my truck in the near future. I am kicking around the idea of having it applied to the black door pillars between the front and rear doors as well. It seems as though I've polished scratches out on them 100 times. Has anyone else had this done ?

When I lived down gravel roads, I have done this in the past also the wheel well lip.... It worked perfectly but keep in mind there is no taking it off!!!! (due to paint being destroyed) Now I would rather clear bra those areas and just remove before trade or sell.... Just a thought.

Line-X here wouldn't do it, said it would need to be too thick and not come out right. I am about to try plasti-dip on that area.

Seems like a lot of effort to go to when you can just replace them with the nice textured ones that come on the XL.

Do they have the cut out for key pad and are they easy to swap?

Sorry for the dumb question, but how do you polish out the scratches? I swear, I got scratches in mine the first time I washed it with brand new mitts, etc.? I was like, "how the F did that happen?!"

I used some polishing compound on my DA polisher...they came out pretty easy. Just like you I use a new wash mit. I also use the two bucket method when washing my truck, but no matter what I always end up with scratches
