Default Line-X question.

I have a Lariat with the bed lights and switch. Those of you who have the same and have had Line-X sprayed, did they remove your lights and switch or just tape around?

Mine was removed along with the box link mounting plates, the lower tie downs, and the bed bolts. Also the tailgate access panel was removed and sprayed separately from the tailgate, which was also removed from the truck for spraying. To do it properly, it should all be removed.

On mine, they removed everything prior to spraying

I have called several places in Georgia and South Carolina and they all say they will remove the bed bolts and box cleats as well as remove the tailgate, but they all say they just tape around the bed lights and switch.

They are probably scared to break something. Seems strange as the standard with Line-X from what I've seen is they will remove as much as possible to ensure the best coverage of their product.

Mine were removed as well. I kinda wished they would have removed that hole in the inside part of the tailgate.
