Default Lifted with OEM wheels

Looking to put a 4 inch BDS lift on my 2015 with stock 20" Platinum wheels? Anyone have any input? Dont want to run spacers. Looking at 295/60/20 or 285/65/20 tires. Thanks in advance

I just lifted my 16 FX4 with a 4” RC and 1.5” Bora spacers and I’m hitting my crash bars about 2.5” .

May want to look at this thread:

He starts out with no spacers.

You are running 285/65/20 on stock wheels? Did you ever try it without the spacers? Curious to know because I am cery hesitant to run spacers

Here another one to check out;

295/60 tires with 3” lift, aftermarket wheels with +1 offset and no rubbing. You really should be golden.

I don’t get why people are good with cutting CRASH bars. They are there, I’m guessing, to potentially save your life.

I was in a head on crash at 25 mph; luckily not hurt, frame on my 2018 truck needed replaced. I’m glad Ford has crash bars.

I'm running a 3" lift with stock 20" Lariat wheels (same offset as your Platinum wheels) with 295/60/20. I have .25" spacers on all wheels with no rubbing and no cutting of crash bars but I'm pretty sure that even with no spacers, it probably wouldn't rub. Looks like there's enough room without them.

Thank you for the advice. And I am totally with you. I honestly want to lift the truck and add bigger tires. I would assume the crash bars are for a good reason and do not necessarily want to bend or cut them.

That sounds very much like what I want to do. BDS says you can use stock 20" wheels with up to a 305 wide tire so I would think 295 or 285 would be great. Any chance you have a picture of your truck? Thanks again for everyones input

update: found a picture of your truck in another thread. Looks really good.

no I didn’t as I like the look of the tire sticking out an 1” or so.

Curious why you don't want to run spacers?

I am assuming, just the aluminum leveling spacers?

or real Body life spacers?
