Default Leveling question

I bought my truck with a leveling kit already installed. It had 35’s and I went back down to 33’s . Now I have a little over 200k on the truck and need to replace struts and shocks.

im looking at the rancho 9000 struts for stock ride height. Will I be able to just swap over the spring, bump stop, and top hat with spacer to the rancho and that be it as far as the strut goes. Im going to be doing all the suspension and steering items. So I’m basically rebuilding the whole thing.

I am probably not looking hard enough, but the only Rancho front shocks I am seeing for the F150 come already loaded with new springs. Assuming that the ones you are looking at do not, then yes, it should be just as you describe. I just did the same thing but with a pair of Eibach front struts. I bought the truck with a 2" spacer level on the stock struts. Removed the front struts, compressed the springs, left the leveling spacer attached and unbolted the top hat, removed the spring, bump stop and bottom collar, and moved everything over to the new strut.

this is what I’m looking at. Just want to make sure I’m not buying something I can’t use.

Not sure what year your truck is, but have you considered these for a few $$$ more? A whole lot less screwing around, new springs included, already assembled.

That’s what my Eibachs looked like out of the box, minus the bottom bracket that I had to swap over from the stock strut. As long as you have the tools you should be set. American Trucks and Stage 3 have a ton of instructional videos.

I specifically went with something that reused the stock spring as I didn’t want the stiffness of the front end to change.

Hmmm, I see that. Might want to contact them, I think someone screwed up, unless the price doubled recently. BTW, 2014-2020 all are the same. Worth an email to them at least.
