I’m torn....
i have a 2015 lariat sport with FX4 package...
i want to level it to be about level or a very slight front rake.....Ive been looking at the 2-2.5” auto or rc as recommended by many on here...also been looking now at the Blistein 5100 as is also highly recommended here....

question is, if I go with the Blistein 5100, doesn’t that sort of defeat the purpose of having the Fx4 package?

Im not too knowledgeable on this so any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

If you go on Rock Auto they don't list a different shock for the FX4 package.
I believe the Billsteins are an improvement over the stock shocks.

I would to a 1 1/2" front leveling kit from autospring - I had this on my 2015 lariat FX4 and now my 2018, will give you the look you are looking for, does not change the ride quality at all.

Hey guys quick question. Installed the Rancho quick lifts in my truck went to get an alignment at the dealership and they quoted me $700. $85 for the alignment and they said I needed new camber bolts at 185 a piece needing two plus labor. Anyone Have any experience with the quick lift leveling kit and is this true or am I being ripped off. They told me the alignment was too out of spec for the Original bolts so I needed these special bolts. Anyone else have this problem with a leveling kit or is it only because I went with the Rancho full strut.

What height are you running? I am leveled at 2.1 inches. My alignment after was not that far off. Camber and caster were still in the green acceptable parameters. Of course toe was off significantly. I brought the alignment cam bolts with me and had them install them to perfectly restore the camber and caster to the recommended specs although it was not necessary. I purchased the cam bolts from rock auto. One thing to note is that cam bolts are not necessary. The caster and camber can be aligned without them but they make it much easier to adjust incrementally.

Default Thoughts on Fabtech 2”

Any comments in the Fabtech 2” strut extensions? Mostly interested in quality, etc. Good brand? Thanks!

I think by having run all 3, he has a valid opinion.
And probably based his opinion on facts.

Now if you have run all 3 of them...... why don't you give us an honest review.......

Or is that your "opinion" based on what you have read ?

Nah dude not an opinion, I've run bilsteins for 4 years on my 15 ram sport, and on previous chevy as well, best shocks I ever ran. Cant say I've run fox but got alot of buddies down here that run em and they love em. Yeah so not based off what I've read bub.
