Default Leveling Kit Mileage?

I am in the process of looking around for a newer (2015+) crew cab, and I like the look of a leveling kit with some aggressive tires. My only issue is what would I get for mileage? What are you guys running with your leveling kits & getting for mpg?

16mpg average. 75% highway driving at usually 75-80mph.

got the 2.7, super crew short box 4x4, 502a, readylift level, bfg KO2s in 305/55r20.

Leveling kit shouldn’t matter much. Oversized, aggressive, E-rated tires will chase it quite a bit. My average dropped from 23 to 18ish with a 3.5 eco, but results can vary

You really can't compare what people ARE getting because everyone drives in a different environment, different speeds, different accelerating habits, elevation, type of truck, engine, etc.

On my 2006 Silverado, I was getting 18.5 on the highway with the factory 265/70-17. I leveled the front and added BFG AT KO, E rated tires that were 285/70-17 and the calculated mileage drop was 1.5 mpg. I saw another 1.5 mpg drop wjen the Gov't mandated E10 gas in Florida. When I soild my truck, I was getting about 15mpg corrected for tire size. With today's fuel being all we have, you might see a difference of 1-4mpg depending on engine, truck, etc.

No change with kit. You’ll see a change with tires. I lost about 2 when I went from 275/55/20 to 35/11.50/20

When I did my 2.5 front lift/level, with stock tires I lost ~4% mpg on the highway (about 1 mpg).

Then I added E rated ~62 pound tires and I lost another ~4% for a total of ~8% loss (about 2 mpg). That's with a corrected speedo.

There are so many variables to consider with incorrect speedometers and different gearing etc, etc, to have a general rule-of-thumb.

But, the bottom line is that heaver tires reduce your mpg.

My lifetime average on my computer is 19.8 mpg. The computer reads 1 mpg high so really 18.8 mpg.

The level won't effect you too much, it's the tires that can kill you. The first 6k miles on my truck I averaged around 18 MPG. Then I did a 2" level with 35" KO2's and I'm averaging 16.5 - 17 MPG (speedo corrected, everything is hand calculated). So I only lost like 1 - 1.5 MPG. But, I think I'd get a lot better than 18 MPG now with stock tires since my truck is well broken in (32k miles).

2.25" level, 295/70/19 Toyo AT2 Xtremes and I easily get low 20s mpg (even going "well over" the speed limit) on the highway.

I highly doubt that unless you’re tuned for economy...

I went from the stock 275/55R20 to 275/60R20 with a 2.1" level and I went from getting 21-21.5 on the highway to 19 and went from 16.5 in town to 15-15.5.
