Default Leveling kit

Will installing a leveling kit myself void the warranty?

No. Adding any aftermarket part does not void your warranty. The dealership must prove the part caused the damaged and then it isn't covered.

While the level won't void your warranty outright, it won't help your case if you file a claim for front end parts. Whether you do it yourself or pay a dealer to do it won't change much in the eyes of Ford, although a dealer may be merciful if they did the work in house. It may be worth asking for a quote - my local dealer was very reasonable in labor costs. It was only an hour or two of shop labor to have it done.

Remember - you'll need an alignment after the level is installed. Factor that into your quote.

Your dealer can answer that. Ask politely and they'll probably give you a discount for having everything done in their shop.

I'm headed there in the morning to ask. But on some threads people have been having trouble with their leveling kit installs... Auto spring says you don't have to rotate 180degrees but but the one person says it not going in... I'm on the fence now

I haven't had any issues. That's one of the joys of having a dealer do the work - get a firm quote ahead of time, agree to a specific price, and let someone else deal with the misery of figuring it out.
