Leveling Issues
Leveled my truck about 2 months ago. Anyone know how I can stop this from rubbing when I turn or if it even matters? Looks like a turn stop to me and the level took it out of place.
That's what its designed to do, its a steering stop. To stop it, don't turn so tight. There really isn't anything you can do about it being out of alignment since installing the leveling kit.

I am about to level my truck and have been watching many videos. A lot of them do not compress the spring and turn the top of the strut. Is this required as I have seen in some videos? If so why is this done. I have a 2018 F150XLT and am installing a Rough Country 2" leveling kit. The plastic version.
Thanks

What the heck are you guys compressing the springs for and spinning the top hat??? The level spacer simply mounts to the top of the oem spring hat. Because you use the oem mounts of the top hat to secure the level spacer, you have to physically rotate the whole assembly 180 degrees to get the level spacer studs to line up with the mount of the truck. You can’t just turn the top hat because it bumps up to the spring, so you have to turn the spring, which means you have to turn the perch. All unnecessary. All the directions are the same, and I’ve installed AS, RC and ReadyLift.
