Default Level kit vs new struts

I have a 2019 2wd and I just installed a 1.5" MotoFab level kit (pucks) to eliminate the rake. I recently came across some practically brand new struts/coils that were removed from a FX4. My research indicates that by installing the struts from a 4x4 would essentially do the same thing as my 1.5" level kit, because the 4x4 spring perch is about 1" higher on the strut. But what about the geometry of the ball joints, spindle, etc? I think I know the answer here, but Im going to ask anyway...the level pucks essentially lengthened my struts, which also effected the geometry of the ball joints etc. If install the 4x4 struts instead, wouldn't the geometry still remain essentially the same as using the pucks? And I believe the 4x4 strut would result in a harsher ride too right?

Why go through the hassle of replacement and cost of alignment just to replace with junk?

You're pretty much safe with stock components up to about 2.5" tops.

F*ck the pucks unless you're truck is a street queen.

When I had a 2wd 2008, I tried putting on coil overs from a 4x4 of the same year and it raised the truck way higher than it should have. Probably almost 3” when I was expecting 1.5” at most. I got rid of those pretty fast.
