Let's see your pods and light bars
I'm trying to decide if I want the usual 20" DR in the bumper or if a ultra slim SR like the luminex at the bottom of the grill and a pair of pods in each fog is the way to go. I want it difficult to take off and I'm not opposed to behind the grill either. Also I have the 5 bar grill Let me see what you have, rear facing is welcome also.
And I don't care for the "light bars blind people" Or "a good set of headlights are all you need" comments.
Thanks guys!

I personally don't like the pods in the fogs. I have the morimoto LED's which are awesome.
What ever you decide I highly recommend wiring it up to you high beams so you can use them, it was the best light I ever did.

I have a set of Baja Designs XL80s and their pod mounts. So you remove the OEM fogs and plastic trims then install the Baja trims and then the lights.
Frankly, the Baja units are the best made and brightest units on the market.
The XLs alone, are easily brighter than the stock LED headlights. It's like night and day.
I like the installation because I don't have anything extra bolted on. The rig looks stock. Also, they are pretty much protected by the bumper.
They can be configured (changed between spot, flood, wide, amber etc) any time by swapping out lenses.
While they are plug and play, the XLs draw too much current to run off the OEM fog circuit. I wired mine via relay activated by a cabin switch and floor switch, so when they are ON, they work like old school HI beams. Of course, they are NOT for normal street use. I do late night runs in the boonies.
I'll likely cut a set of their flush mount Squadrons into the plastic trim set up for true fogs. Those draw less and are available as true amber fogs. I'll run them off the OEM fog switch and harness.
Before the Bajas, I had the Morimotos. IMHO a $235 waste of time. I couldn't even tell when they were on. Sold them on EBay for $150.

I was thinking along the lines of dual pods, One white and the other Amber on each side in the fogs. Also no need to change wiring with FORScan for the bambi mod 👍 love technology!
