I don't see aluminum repair being a big deal. Ford has had aluminum hoods for years.

I know how you feel. I need to have my front bumper repainted after someone hit it while I was at a football game. Luckily it just scraped the paint off and nothing else. I'm not even getting insurance involved as it's about $450. Just ticks me off my truck only has 1500 miles.

Good luck, I'm sure everything will turn out ok.

Update: The insurance adjusted stopped by Thursday morning. Damage is valued at $2k. The will replace the door shell, replace the inner fender, and repair the outer fender. I purchased the vehicle in late July. The dealer had it for two weeks due to the dash warp, i guess it's going back in for some body work now. It could be worse though.
