Default LED lighting

I have a 2019 F150 XLT. How do I find out if my truck has LED lighting or do all of them have LEDs but just different styles?

Do you mean headlights? I didn't think LEDs came on any of the XLTs, but I'm not 100% certain. My XLT, a Sport with 302A, does not.

I think we're all halogen. My 2018 has halogen headlights that suck, but I'm not spending the money to replace housings for LED's, and LED's in halogen housings just don't work right.

Pretty sure 13th Gen XLT's are halogen and Lariat and above are LED. If I'm worong, I'll be corrected post haste.

Allegedly, switching to Sylvania Xtra Vision or Ultra Vision bulbs (H11's) are a vast improvement.

All XL, XLT as well as Lariat 500A and 501A have halogen headlights.

Lariat 502A, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited have LED headlights.

Like I said...Post Haste.

Love my truck, but the halogen headlights are pathetic...Or I'm getting old.

Love my OEM LED conversion, I don't get people who say the OEM LED headlights are not good enough. They light up the shoulders and ditches, something my halogen never did, and the high beams reflect off signs more than a mile away on a clear night.

I have no qualms about my factory LED headlamps. Good white light, good range, sharp cutoff.

I didn't think the halogen low beams in my '11 were great, but they can be significantly improved by replacing the OEM bulb which was designed for long life (i.e. dim) so dealers wouldn't have to replace them during the warranty period.

I would say they are better than the Halogen. I have had vehicles with better lights than the OEM LEDs that I have. Here are the results from IIHS tests where both the Halogen and LED got a poor rating though for different reasons.

You can see how the LEDs were better but they found excessive glare. I do get flashed from time to time at night. I just flash back.

Looking to upgrade to the OEM LED set up. I know that Boosted Grey Goose offers the conversion harnesses but are there any other options available?

Is there an OEM Part # that works?

Thanks all
