Oh man. When I ordered mine, they said it would be back ordered too. I wound up getting them within 5 days. Hopefully, you will too.

PIAA Gen 3. I have PIAAs in all of them. No beam pattern issues, cause its not a cheap product. The modules are a bit big though. Diode Dynamics are easier to install.

The Philips Ultinon are the best bulbs period. They do use a cooling fan, they do not have ugly and messy heat fins. They efficiently use heat sinks that work flawlessly in the Las Vegas 120 heat. The beam pattern is a VERY sharp cutoff and the color is perfect. They are better than OEM quality and come with a warranty that likely will outlast the vehicle.

i went with the GTR lighting, they are $199 but I feel you get what you pay for. They fit just fine but yes you do have to mod the dust boot, see pic. Mine work just fine with the DRL.

Did you order the longer dust boots?

When I look at Phillips site, they only show 2017 model year. Will that same bulb work fine in the 2018s?

Yes, mine is an 18. They use the same headlight and foglight bulbs. Philips however does not make the fog bulbs, so I used Sylvania Revos in the fogs. They match pretty closely. I dont think heads and fogs should match anyhow. The headlights should be bluer and fogs whiter as the fogs should be lower on the color spectrum.
