Default LED Headlights

For those that have taken delivery, can you provide some feedback on the led headlight effectiveness? How do they compare to the HID on previous models? Tia

I can only compare it to the HID on my wife's '11 Explorer and my '13 Mustang which are probably similar to the 13-14 F150. They seem to put out more light and in more of a flood pattern, where the HID lights seemed to put the light out in more of a beam. Both put out great light.

The LED headlights are great! The low beams spread a fairly wide pattern that lights things up very well. The high beams totally put to shame my 2012's halogens! They really light up the night.

I guess it's only vaguely related but how is the automatic headlight dimming working for you?

The auto high beams on my truck work just fine. They seem to be very consistent and switch on and off as I would've done manually if I was paying close attention to their use.

As is it is now, with the auto high beam feature, my high beams are on quite a bit more than I would have turned them on manually because I simply don't think about activating them all of the time that they could be in use.
