Thanks jwmustang.

Just wrapped up putting in my lows and fogs. Went through the wheel well on the passenger side (turn your wheels towards the opposite side for best angle) and removed the air filter housing setup on the drivers side and went at it from that angle for that side...BIG TIME SAVER THAT WAY.

Decided not to put the dust covers back on because I can't see how any moisture can enter the housing IF you install the bulbs correctly. They have a great seal at the base of the bulb and when you turn them that last 1/4 turn they suck/seal right in tight. No way water is getting in there. Zip tied both ballast setups to existing lines with 4" zip ties so that they're not flopping around.

I originally connected the canbus to both lows, but LED's would not work with it connected. Hooked the bulbs up direct and they work great, so no canbus was used on mine. Will keep an eye on this...

Used the 9005 bulbs that BHamilton recommended for the fogs and they are bright. Had to enter the bulb by removing the bottom two wheel liner screws so that I could enter the housing at the correct angle. Impossible to install them using the same path as removing the stock bulbs. Zipped up both fog ballasts to the truck frame using 8" zip ties. These really put out a tremendous amount of light and make such a difference. I'm a bit concerned that it might be too much. @BHamilton - any concern with your fogs and scatter or blinding oncoming traffic?

Be sure to remember to finish screwing on the weather proof cap on the lines. Mine were lose and need to be tightened. Gives added weather proof seal. Fan out the heat sinks and you're good to go.

HUGE DIFFERENCE and they look great! I marked the cutoff line on my garage door for my original stock bulbs last night. Tested it from the same distance (25') once I finished installing the new LED's and the cutoff was spot on the same. Doesn't appear to need adjustment.

Thank you to everyone for all your help, feedback and tips...especially BlackBoost and BHamilton. Much appreciated.

You got a point there Brian. Its easy not to screw them in correctly.
One of my canbus also didnt work. If you need to use them make sure the prongs did not push out.
They are bright and focused.
Thanks Blackboost and Bhamilton for the info.

LED bulbs & canbus adapters are sitting on my desk right now!
Going to try to find a good dark road & get some good before shots with my DSLR & install then get after shots.

The language conversion doesn't always know words like piggyback etc. I buy cheap stuff from Aliexpress almost every week. For those who don't know, this is what you are weighing against. Most items take 2 or 3 weeks from order date. Occasionally you never get your item even though it says "shipped" and you have to open a dispute with Ali to get your money back after 2+ months of waiting. There really is no such thing as returns as the return shipping costs more than the item. If they send you the wrong item you may only get a partial refund. I only had to dispute one item once on my credit card, as the Ali dispute process only refunded me partially for the totally wrong color bike jersey.

So the H11's are $46.90 from Amazon with 2 day shipping n the USA and 2 year warranty and Amazon A/Z guarantee and they are $38.47 from Ali. There is usually no warrantee from Ali vendors. I know what I would choose in this instance but YMMV.

The 9005's are also $46.90 on Amazon and $38.47 from Ali.
FYI Just in case anyone was looking to pull the trigger, Aliexpress is having a sale starting tomorrow and the mentioned lights are 10% off. So, if you are looking to get all 3 sets Hi/Low/Fog,($106.41) you could save a few buckeroos. Just plan on 19-39 days shipping.

In response to shipping time at AliExpress, I was figuring a little longer but I ordered on March 19 and received a text yesterday stating that DHL is planning on delivering tomorrow March 29 so a total of 10 days to Canada.

I was going t wait until I received (will still update then) but so far with the communication, price, and tentative delivery time of tomorrow I am impressed!

Funny enough they showed up today, all looked good then I noticed the box had been originally marked 9006, then had a new checkmark on the 9005,

I was concerned about this and contacted the seller and he said the only difference between the two is the 9005 has a red o-ring around it and the 9005 has a black one which apparently are different sizes. So we shall see.

But I can say communication, shipping, etc has all been very fast!

I'm getting my money back on my crappy set of Husky wheel liners from Amazon, so I think I'll the dive and grab these. I'll be putting them in my ANZO high beams, as I have HIDs in low.

UPDATE - I'm really, really happy with these LED's! Can't even begin to explain how big of a difference they make. H11 for low beams and 9005 for fogs. They look great and are very functional.

Make sure you take your time and seat each bulb correctly. I did have one fog that was not completely seated correctly and it scattered light very badly. Easy fix, but it just shows how important it is to install them correctly so that they perform correctly (no blinding.) Also, no issues so far in regards to not using the canbus. No flickering at all.

Anxious to hear how the rest of you are doing with your install. Please give us an update. Thanks!

Got mine in last night, wow is all I can say.
Took me about an hour, taking my time. Could probably do in under 30 min now.
First side, it took me a little time to figure out how to release the brake duct from the lower headlight panel with all the bolts.
I ended up not needing the canbus adapters, the bulbs wouldn't fire with them connected.

A few comparison shots, all shot with my Nikon D70S with the same shutter/apeture settings on full manual, in the same locations, about 26 hours apart.
