Default Leather on an XLT

I've tried the build your truck tool on the Ford website, but I haven't seen an option to add leather to an XLT trim level. Figured it would be an option on the 2015's since it was an option on the 2014's. Am I missing something?

Not a bad idea! One things Saturn got right! If you wanted a base model with manual windows but a power sunroof you could! Everything was a la carte!

You can get leather on a xlt 2015 expedition but not f150. Maybe they'll make it an option on future models

It only gets worse for you if you want a regular cab like I do. To begin with, XLT is the top trim that you can get, so no Lariat, no King Ranch and no Platinum. Kinda sucks. You then cannot get leather, no bucket seats, and no console with floor shifter. And I do not see any option for the sport package as well. Added all together and it is on the edge of being a deal breaker for me on deciding to get a 2015 or not. The MSRP of my RegCab build that I would order is approximately $43.5K and at that price it is not equipped the way I want. When I am spending that much I would like my truck the way I want it, not the way some "bean counters" back at Ford figured out to maximize profits.

FYI, I saw a new 2014 XLT at my local dealer, and they had upgraded the interior to Katzkin leather heated seats. I think they said it cost about 1700 (Canada, and probably cheaper if you do it yourself). Honestly, they looked just as nice or nicer than the stock leather seats in the new 2015's IMHO.

When I bought my 14 Xlt super crew I was told I could add two tone leather seats, heated and auto start for $2500 US money I thought that was pretty sharp, but I was already in the dog house so I didnt get it lol I still want to though
