I know its not an XLT or Lariat but I just leased a 2019 STX Supercab demo (4400 miles on it) with $3250 in rebates on it. Put about $4500 down. 36 months with 12,000 mi/yr. My lease payment is an unbelievable $170.19/month, all my warranties and mileage start at that 4400 miles as my zero. . It ain't a Lariat, but the STX is pretty nice value optioned well for a basic truck and I am very happy for the money I spent.

No, you are very welcome and thanks for the comment! You brought some valuable information to the table. Please continue to comment my friend. I had no idea you could lease a demo.

I had no idea either....went looking for a brand new 2019 2.7 Ecoboost in either Lightning Blue or Magnetic. Dealer had one of each, the Magnetic being a demo and was equipped a little better than the Blue one. When he told me I could get a hell of a deal on the demo, I listened. Payment turned out to be about 60% of the standard payment for the zero mile and it had a sprayed in bed, tailgate step and a couple other options over the Blue one too. When I heard the payment discount...I jumped! It was a right time, right place deal.

Lease the XLT if you plan on turning it in - lease the Lariat with a good buyout at the end of you may keep it.

Yes - XLT will cost less- but you cannot easily get leather or a sunroof on an XLT. Lots of little options standard on the Lariat that make life easier.

Then it's aftermarket leather, my dealer puts that in to some of their XLTs as well.

My 2017 XLT 302A, every option but Pano and FX4, was $390/mo for 24 Months, 13,500 miles/yr
My 2019 Lariat 502A, every option but Pano, including the power running boards and all that good stuff, is $490/mo for 24 Months, 15,000 Miles/Yr.

No money down, just available rebates and A-Plan. Ford makes leasing an F-150 extra nice because after your first F-150 lease you get a really good F-150 lease renewal rebate. You get lease renewal rebates from any Ford, but the F-150 rebate is the largest. Makes going to a Lariat a lot easier after having the XLT. Also even though the Lariat rebates are often less than XLT, the Lariat residual is higher by 2-4% depending on cab and 4x4/4x2. That helps close the gap on leasing and people often overlook it in favor of rebates, even though 4% of $60k is $2400. Rebates and residual should be considered when it comes to a lease as that determines your payment in the end.

Obviously the Lariat will still be more, but maybe not as much as you think. My Lariat is $100/mo more, but keep in mind that's with more miles and significantly more equipment. I could have targeted a 501A Lariat and been at the same price as my XLT.
