So the transmission is attached to the engine and right above and behind the the oil pan. On a 5.0, the oil pan is large and black with the oil plug on the rear facing down at an angle (it looks like you have the 3.5 so this will be different...but generally the same location). The transmission is right behind it (gray)...and the transfer case is attached to the very end of the transmission. If you look at the driveshaft, the driveshaft will be connected to the transfer case on the front end and rear diff on the back end. I'd tell you where your leak was if the picture gave a larger view of where it was.

If you're talking the very front off to the side, it's likely the front diff.

You posted at 11:28pm (when many were already in bed), then bumped it at 1:46am, then bumped again at 12:50pm... are we being a little over-eager?

No was bringing to the dealer by 1pm so was hoping to give them a detail of where it was because they are terrible at saying they could not find it.

Dealer just called first said they could not find, then I sent the pictures they looked again and said it was a water pump leak, they will order a gasket. They said the fluid was orange for the water pump. It looked orangish but to me it could have been tranny fluid. Good to know the fluid is actually orange. You can kinda see the orange hue in the picture.

Thank you to everyone for looking I know it was last minute notice. I expected them to call me and say not found. I used a stethoscope camera to see above the skid plate so I didn't have to remove the skid plate. It is an easy way to check for leaks and on Ebay its like 15 dollars. Plugged into my Samsung S8 and snaked up in 15 seconds to see the leak. So the pics are close. Dealer said first time they seen a water pump leak on an 18.

That explains the photos. I'd no idea what I was looking at. Good luck with the repairs.
