Default The latest Sync3 map update is HUGE

It is an 11 GB zipped file and is taking forever to unzip. Are they normally this large and does it contain a major update to the maps?

@IAJack Did you have any luck getting it installed? I tried to install it yesterday but I got LST_ERR05.

It looks like the license file was not the one expected in the update. I'm not sure if the site was serving up the wrong license file, or the wrong map update. Today I tried to redownload and it's serving the same license file, but the map update gives an "Access Denied" error when I try to download it.

I have a ticket open with Ford CRC, but I expect that will take a days or weeks before I hear back on a resolution.

Same issue so I corrected the autoinstall file and then it comes up with a license error. What year is yours?

From the instruction page.

"NOTE: If your License File name does not contain parenthesis as shown above, you can proceed to Step 11. If, however, you have downloaded the License File multiple times, the filename may contain a number in parenthesis (1), (2), (3), etc. as shown below. Before copying the License File to the USB, you must rename the file by removing the number and parenthesis."

In the case of mine, for an 18, the install file is looking for a license file with the suffix of CE but the license file provided has a suffix of CF. It doesn't have anything to do with parenthesis. They once again messed maps up on initial release. Then changing the install file to the CF license file produces a license error and yes, the APIM serial number is correct.

Mine is a 2019. I also tried renaming the license file and editing the autoinstall file, but that didn't work.

Same error or did you then get a license error?
